A cigar worth waiting for

The cigar you have been anxiously waiting for is finally here. Inspired by the FX television series, Mayans MC, this cigar embodies all of the hard-core, street tough traits that the characters of the show radiate on screen.

Hailing from Nicaragua, the Mayans cigar sports a stunning Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that protects the skillfully combined mixture of Dominican and Nicaraguan binder and filler, to produce a medium to full-bodied profile full of rich earth, wood, chocolate, and pepper. Solid construction and equal burn finish out creating an experience that revs across and excites your palate from start to finish. It's the perfect companion to have while binge watching the series. So grab a box today before they ride off into the sunset for good.

Never heard of the show, but apparently it's pretty good, as told to me by a friend who bought a few of these and gave me one. He didn't like it much, but I thought it was alright. Nothing amazing, but alright. I don't think the flavor came through as much as I would have liked it to, and the draw was a bit tight, but the cigar was enjoyable otherwise. I did like the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and the taste it gave; I'm a big fan of Broadleaf wrappers overall and it's a wonderful combination with Nicaraguan tobacco. There are a ton of earthy components to this smoke, but I feel as if their flavor is toned down a bit for whatever reason. I think you need to really try harder than usual to taste the notes this cigar is attempting to give off. That said, it wasn't bad, but it sort of felt like I was smoking just to smoke at times. I don't think it's a must buy by any means, but it was not awful. Just a pretty average cigar for fans of this show, I suppose.

Happy smoking! CB
