Introducing the Titan. A mighty vitola that weighs in at a hefty 6.25” x 56 and bursts with medium to full-bodied goodness. The complex layers of rich, silky smooth flavors are derived from the vintage tobaccos utilized. A gorgeous Costa Rican maduro wrapper, cultivated in 1996, hugs a lush blend of Honduran, Dominican, and Columbian tobaccos, which has been aging in cedar for 5 years. Secured by a delicious Nicaraguan binder, these fine tobaccos are the ultimate marriage, promoting a burst of toasty, cedary flavors delivered in rich fashion that grows in intensity throughout the burn.

The Gurkha Titan is one of the best cigars I've ever had, and it was one of the first Gurkha cigars I smoked many years ago. Revisiting it was a nostalgic trip back to my early days of smoking, when my father would grab me a Gurkha Sampler each and every Christmas to help me feed my interest in cigars. Back in the day, I used to be a huge fan of Gordo sized cigars, but that interest has waned in recent years. The Titan only comes in this size, and while it's certainly heavy in the hand, it actually presents as a really nice smoke despite it's hulking size, and it brings a ton to the table in terms of body and flavor.

The Titan screams cedar wood, and if you read the description, you'll see that it has been aged in such wood for a long time before preparation. Typically, the toasty aroma goes very well with wood, and when smoking this one, you'll catch the warmth and the toast from this cigar almost instantly. It's a rich and heavy cigar; the smoke is thick and somewhat creamy, but mostly peppery. It feels wonderful in your hand and it's draw is consistent and plentiful. The Titan is one of those rare Gordo cigars that provides a ton of smoke and a ton of character despite being having a moderate amount of filler outside of the Titan blend.

Gurkha is not a brand that is for everyone; I've found that you'll either love them or hate them. I have always loved Gurkha as a brand, and I think their smokes have great flavor and complexity. You can't win a guy like me over without fantastic construction, and this cigar has that, too. I've never caught a bad draw or a tight roll with a Gurkha, and for that reason alone it's enough to grab a few of them. I will always endorse Gurkha, and the Titan is among my favorites. I can't wait for my next one, and it means a lot to me in a very nostalgic way. Sample all the Gurkhas you can!

Happy smoking! CB
